You shouldn't have to babysit your drink all night.
One 15-second check instead.
Hand over the top of the glass. Taking it into the bathroom stall with you. Finishing it fast so nobody gets the chance. Every girl has her own routine, and it gets exhausting.
Velsola is a pink heart sticker. Stick it on your nail, your straw or the inside of your cup, and let your drink touch it before you sip. Pink means none of the six was detected. Green means one was.
It doesn't replace watching your drink. It adds one more check, right on your hand.
Made for the nights you actually go out.
Girls' night: one heart on, nobody notices
First semester of college: you can't go with her, but this can
Bachelorette weekend: a pouch for the group
Her 21st: the night everyone is buying her drinks
Concerts and festivals: crowds, cups and strangers
Travel: a bar you have never been to
Your bag gets left at home. Your nails are always with you.
Watching your drink is step one. This is step two.
Most of us already watch our drinks. But people still say it happened when the glass never left their sight, or when the only person who touched it was the bartender.
Velsola gives you a check for 6 spiking drugs that lives on your nail, so it is there when you need it and looks like nail art when you don't.

It happens more than anyone says out loud.
Most women know someone it has happened to. Very few cases are ever reported, so the numbers you hear are the low end.
You are not being dramatic for wanting one more check.
What the research found
60%
of college women in one US survey said they had been drugged in the past year
70%
of 18 to 24 year olds have experienced or witnessed spiking
Seven in ten young adults in a UK survey of 2,063 people.
90%
of spiking incidents go unreported
About half of those said they "didn't see the point".
You are not the only one who thinks about this.
Questions people ask
What does it detect?
What does it detect?
GHB, ketamine, ecstasy (MDMA), cocaine, amphetamine and benzodiazepines, six drugs used in spiking. We would rather be clear about the limits up front: it can't detect alcohol, which is the most common substance found in spiking cases, and it can't detect other drugs. A pink heart means none of the six was detected, not that a drink is safe. Think of it as one extra check on top of everything you already do.
Is it hygienic to dip my nail in my drink?
Is it hygienic to dip my nail in my drink?
It's your own drink and your own finger, and it's in there for a second. Put the sticker on a clean, dry nail with clean hands, dip just the tip of your nail once before you sip, then enjoy your drink.
Rather not dip your nail? Stick the heart on your straw, or on the inside of your glass just under the rim, and tilt your drink over it.
Where do I put the sticker?
Where do I put the sticker?
Three ways: on your nail (dip the tip in your drink), low on your straw (below the drink line), or on the inside of your glass just under the rim (tilt your drink over it).
For your nail, put it on right before you head out, on a clean, dry nail with no hand cream on it, and press it down firmly. Each sticker is single use: once it has touched a drink, peel it off and use a fresh one for your next drink. That's why there are 30 in a pouch.
If you put your drink down and walk away, use a fresh sticker before you sip again.
Does it look obvious?
Does it look obvious?
No. It's a small pink heart on one nail, so it reads as nail art. Nobody needs to know you're checking. No strip to pull out, no cup cover, no conversation about it.
Won't it give me a false sense of security?
Won't it give me a false sense of security?
Only if it's treated as the whole answer, and it isn't. It checks for six drugs: GHB, ketamine, ecstasy, cocaine, amphetamine and benzodiazepines. Keep watching your drink, stay with your friends, and leave if something feels off. Velsola is one more layer, like a seatbelt is one more layer. It doesn't replace the others.
Why not just watch my drink?
Why not just watch my drink?
You should, and you probably already do. But a lot of people say it happened when the glass never left their sight, or when the bartender was the only one who touched it. Watching tells you who came near it. It can't tell you what's in it.
Why pay more than test strips?
Why pay more than test strips?
You don't. One pack works out to about 33 cents a sticker, and the 3-pack to about 27 cents, less than most drink test strips cost. The difference is that this one is already on your hand, not at the bottom of your bag.
What do I do if the heart turns green?
What do I do if the heart turns green?
Don't drink it. Keep the glass if you can, tell a friend and the staff, and stay with people you trust. If you or a friend feel unwell, dizzy or suddenly much drunker than you should be, get help right away and call 911 in an emergency.
Can I see the result in a dark bar?
Can I see the result in a dark bar?
Pink and green are clearly different colors, but bars are dark. If you can't see it clearly, step into the light or use your phone's flashlight. Try one at home first so you know what your nail looks like before a night out.
