A check for your drink that lives on your nail
Welcome to Velsola. We make drink test nail stickers for people who want to enjoy the night instead of guarding their glass all of it.
We are a small team who kept hearing the same thing from friends, sisters and daughters: they already watch their drinks. They hold a hand over the glass, take it into the bathroom, finish it fast so nobody gets the chance. And they are tired of it. Not because they are paranoid. Because the worry never fully switches off.
So we made something small that goes where you go. A pink heart sticker for your nail. Before you sip, you let your drink touch it, on your nail, your straw or your cup. If none of the six drugs it screens for is detected, the heart stays pink. If one is detected, it turns green.
Honest about what it does
Velsola screens for six drugs used in spiking: GHB, ketamine, ecstasy (MDMA), cocaine, amphetamine and benzodiazepines. It can't detect alcohol, which is the most common substance found in spiking cases, and it can't detect other drugs. A pink heart does not mean a drink is safe. We would rather you hear that from us than find it out later.
It is one more check, not the whole answer. Keep watching your drink, stay with your friends, and trust your gut.
The people we made it for
We made it for the girls going out on a Friday who want one less thing to think about. The ones starting their first semester of college in a city they don't know yet. The friend who always ends up looking after everyone else. The bride buying a pouch for the whole bachelorette group. And the parents and older sisters who can't go with her, but can put something in her care package.
None of them want to be dramatic about it. They just want to enjoy the night.
How we sell it
One price, shown up front, with shipping included. Tracked delivery on every order. An email address a person reads, usually the same day. No countdown timers, and no claims we can't stand behind.
We hope Velsola gives you what it was always meant to give you: a quick check, and then the rest of your night.
